Our Story
BUNCH was founded in late 2017 with the goal of filling the cultural gap between tech companies in need of scalability and outsourcing firms flush with talent.
The challenge was to sync a large team of uniquely talented specialists with clients in diverse industry niches around the world with the precision of a Swiss watch.
An untapped Opportunity
During our time working in the tech industry, we faced the common struggle of balancing tight budgets and scaling teams across multiple geographies. We experienced the operational pains of increasing headcounts allocated to tasks that could easily be outsourced.
At this stage in our careers, we were living in the Philippines steadily growing our products. We were very aware of the amazing quality of local tech talent, so we gave local outsourcing companies a try.
Our first attempt failed because we found a cultural misalignment between outsourcing providers and our company. It was impossible to integrate a remote, outsourced team within our organization that could also share the same spirit and values.
Most outsourcing providers are completely process-oriented. This does not align with the tech industry, which is talent and goals-oriented. The unique skills required by the tech workforce simply cannot be unleashed in a traditional corporate setting.

In less than two years of operations, we have built trusted relationships with dozens of tech companies and helped them scale faster and more efficiently.
Our team has grown to 80 to 120 employees to date and we handle thousands of customer service tickets for our clients and millions of image annotations every single week. For a large chunk of our clients, we have become their one-stop outsourcing shop and a trusted partner that understands the essentials of their growth and allocates the right talent to fuel it.
